Bogor Police Chief Shares Iftar Meals and Breaks Fast with Students and Local Residents
The holy month of Ramadan 1447 H has become a special occasion for the Bogor Police to engage with the community. The Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto, organised an event to distribute iftar meals and break fast together with students and local residents.
This event took place in the Pakansari area, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday (25/2/2026) afternoon. Students from Cipayung Plus and the Joint Student Executive Council (BEM) of Bogor Regency were in attendance, as were enthusiastic local residents.
The event was attended by representatives from 25 student organisations, including BEM IPB, BEM UNIDA, HMI, PMII, GMNI, and GMKI.
A warm and friendly atmosphere filled the venue, with AKBP Wikha and the senior officers of the Bogor Police mingling freely with the students and local residents.
As the time for breaking the fast approached, AKBP Wikha personally helped distribute iftar packages and food to the people present in Pakansari. The food was prepared using a field kitchen provided by the Mobile Brigade (Brimob).
The event also included a touching religious talk by Ustaz Deden Ibnu Aghil, followed by a joint prayer.
When the time for breaking the fast arrived, the Bogor Police Chief joined the students and local residents, sitting together on the floor. While enjoying the simple meal, light conversation and laughter flowed freely, creating a strong sense of camaraderie.
“This event is not just about sharing food, but about maintaining good relations. We want to hear directly from the students and the community about their aspirations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere,” said AKBP Wikha during the event.
Through this activity, AKBP Wikha added, the Bogor Police is committed to always being present in the community, not only as law enforcers, but also as part of the larger Bogor community.
“The responsibility of the National Police, together with young people and all elements of the nation, is to work together in accordance with their respective professions and abilities to realise the shared vision of a progressive Indonesia towards a golden Indonesia in 2045 by utilising the momentum of the demographic bonus,” he continued.
