Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto, together with senior officials and personnel of Bogor Police, conducted a joint breaking of fast ceremony with the community. Bogor Police also distributed free takjil and assistance to residents.

The activity took place at Gadog Hoegeng Post in Bogor Regency on Thursday (12/3). The initiative represented Bogor Police’s concern for the community, particularly for road users and residents in the Gadog area ahead of the breaking of fast.

The activity commenced with AKBP Wikha and his personnel directly distributing takjil to two- and four-wheeled motorists passing through Gadog Hoegeng Post. Bogor Police also provided assistance to residents, hoping this would help the community while strengthening relations between police and residents.

After the distribution of takjil and assistance concluded, AKBP Wikha and senior officials of Bogor Police continued the activity with a joint breaking of fast at Gadog Hoegeng Post. Through this social initiative, Bogor Police hoped to maintain harmonious relations with the community and foster a sense of togetherness and mutual care during the holy month of Ramadan.

AKBP Wikha announced plans for the development of integrated service posts at several locations within Bogor Police’s jurisdiction. This follows directives from the West Java Police Chief to all police units in the West Java region to establish integrated service posts with unique and thematic concepts.

“These integrated posts are expected to attract public attention, particularly holiday travellers. In addition to being security posts, various police services will be available here for the community,” Wikha told reporters on Friday (13/3/2026).

He explained that each integrated service post would be staffed by combined personnel from various institutions, including the Police, Armed Forces, Transportation Department, Civil Police Unit, and the Regional Disaster Management Agency. The aim is to ensure that community services operate optimally.
