Bogor Resort Police (Polres Bogor) deployed a volunteer team from the Polres Bogor ‘Good Police’ Community to collaborate with representatives of students from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) studying in Bogor. The aim was to distribute humanitarian aid donations worth Rp100 million for residents affected by natural disasters in Tanarata Urban Village, Kota Komba District, East Manggarai Regency, NTT.

The Rp100 million donation was the result of voluntary fundraising from all personnel across the Bogor Police headquarters and sector police stations throughout Bogor Regency. To ensure accountability and the accurate distribution of logistics on the ground, three personnel from the Polres Bogor ‘Good Police’ Community were dispatched directly to the aid drop-off location in Tanarata Urban Village, accompanying the NTT student representatives who acted as a communication bridge with local residents.

Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto emphasised that this joint action demonstrates that the police consistently embrace youth and students to become agents of goodwill and providers of solutions for the suffering of communities in need.

The initiative received appreciation from the representative of NTT students in Bogor, Tri Rahman.

“We express our deepest gratitude to the Bogor Police Chief and all personnel. Involving us, NTT students in Bogor, together with the Polres Bogor ‘Good Police’ Community team in overseeing this Rp100 million aid has been very meaningful. This assistance truly matters for our brothers and sisters in Tanarata Urban Village, East Manggarai,” said Tri Rahman in a statement received on Wednesday (26/8/2026).

Bogor Police hopes that the delivery of this humanitarian aid can accelerate the socio-economic recovery process for communities in Kota Komba District, while also strengthening the bonds of national brotherhood among elements of society.
