Bogor People's School Begins MPLS, Focused on Decile 1 and 2 Groups

A total of 1,080 students from decile 1 and decile 2 families, the groups with the lowest welfare levels, will occupy the Integrated People’s School (SRT) 1 in Bogor Regency, Jasinga, West Java. The 6.96-hectare educational complex was completed by PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) and has begun use through the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS).

Brantas Abipraya Corporate Secretary Dian Sovana said the MPLS marks the complex officially entering the utilisation phase to support the government’s People’s School Programme. “Overall, SRT 1 Bogor Regency is designed to accommodate up to 1,080 students, particularly from families in decile 1 and decile 2 groups,” Dian said on Monday (24/8/2026).

Unlike ordinary schools, SRT 1 is designed as a complete educational ecosystem, not merely classroom buildings. There are 29 buildings within the complex, including primary, junior high, and senior high school buildings, male and female dormitories, teacher dormitories, a multipurpose hall, places of worship, a canteen, sports fields, and green open spaces. The complex sits in the hills at an elevation of approximately 161 metres above sea level.

Dian said the dormitories are a key element of the school’s design, as the People’s School programme targets children from families in need, making residential facilities an inseparable part of educational access itself. “This school is expected not only to be a place for teaching and learning activities, but also a space for students to develop character, skills, and personal potential,” Dian said.

For Brantas Abipraya, completing this project is not the end of the company’s responsibility as a contractor. “For Brantas Abipraya, every infrastructure we build does not stop at the completion of construction work, but must provide real benefits to the community. We are grateful that the construction of SRT 1 Bogor Regency has been completed and is now being utilised by the community,” Dian continued.

Dian added that the quality of learning facilities helps determine an educational environment that supports student growth and development. Therefore, the construction of SRT 1 pursued not only construction standards but also complete supporting facilities for students’ daily activities. “Through the construction of the Bogor Regency People’s School, we want to contribute quality, safe educational infrastructure that can be utilised immediately,” Dian said.

Going forward, Brantas Abipraya stated it will continue working on similar infrastructure projects oriented towards social value, not merely technical achievements. “Going forward, Brantas Abipraya will continue to deliver quality infrastructure works that meet specifications, are on time, and provide added value for the community in supporting Indonesia’s increasingly advanced and competitive development,” Dian said.
