Bogor Murderer Admits Killing Victim After 'No Parents' Insult

BOGOR — MF (26) killed Anggi Aulia (25) on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar or Yasmin in Bogor out of resentment.

Police Commissioner Rio Wahyu Anggoro of Bogor City Police stated that the suspect MF felt hurt during a meeting with the victim at a restaurant in Air Mancur, Bogor, on Saturday, 2 May 2026.

The victim and suspect were former high school classmates in Bogor Regency.

MF contacted the victim via direct message (DM).

“Certain remarks caused the suspect to feel hurt,” Police Commissioner Rio told reporters at Bogor City Police Station on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Meanwhile, Assistant Police Commissioner Bagus Azi Lesmana Putra, head of the criminal investigation unit, stated that the suspect admitted feeling hurt after being mocked by the victim.

“The victim told the suspect, ‘pity you don’t have parents’. Those words triggered the suspect’s anger and resentment towards the victim,” Azi Lesmana stated at Bogor City Police Station.

According to Police Commissioner Rio, after the first meeting, MF invited the victim to meet again on Friday, 22 May 2026.

The second meeting took place at a coffee shop in Kemang, followed by a Pecel Lele restaurant near Pakansari Stadium in Bogor Regency.

During the second meeting, Anggi was unaware that MF had prepared a golok (machete) and showed it to her.

“But the suspect then said, ‘if you want peace or safety, what do you want? Money.’ The victim refused,” Rio said.

He added that MF carried out the killing near Pakansari Stadium.

“Near Pakansari Stadium, the victim was strangled using a tie brought by the suspect,” he continued.
