Bogor motorcyclist carries 'flying' ice blocks like Superman

A video circulating on Thursday, 21 May 2026, shows a motorcyclist riding along the left-hand side of the road while bracing his body on top of the ice blocks he is carrying. The rider appears to be driving freely and was not wearing a helmet. The act was deemed to endanger himself and other road users.

In confirmation, Bogor Barat Police Sector chief, Kompol Didin Komarudin, said the police had not received a report of the incident. He urged motorists to obey the rules and not to carry excessive loads.

“There is no report yet; the appeal is to obey traffic regulations. If riding in an orderly manner, do not load with excess items so as not to endanger yourself or others,” Didin said.

Separately, Bogor City Traffic Police head of unit AKP Robby Rachman said they would take action if similar cases were found. In addition, enforcement would be extended to other violations.

“We will surely take action; we have already carried out enforcement against loud exhausts and riders without helmets,” he said.
