Bogor Mayor Reminds Civil Servants of Ban on Requesting Year-End Bonuses, Violators Face Sanctions
BOGOR — Bogor Mayor Dedie A Rachim has warned civil servants (ASN) of Bogor City against requesting year-end bonuses (THR) from anyone.
He appealed to residents who witness or know of civil servants requesting THR to report such conduct to the relevant authorities.
“That is no longer even gratification anymore. Stop it, there is no need—you all understand already. If anyone sees it, just report it,” said Dedie when met at Bogor City Hall on Sunday evening, 8 March 2026.
Dedie stated that civil servants caught requesting THR will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
“There are rules for sanctions if THR is a violation. Starting from first warning, second warning, third warning, and so on,” he said.
Dedie hopes no civil servants in Bogor City will solicit THR. He is confident that all civil servants in the area under his authority understand the prohibition.
“It is inappropriate, unworthy, and prohibited. So I believe all civil servants already understand, already know where the boundaries are, and if they request THR, I do not think they will,” he added.
