Bogor lacks junior high schools

BOGOR: A great number of elementary school students in Bogor regency are not be able to continue their education due to limited places at junior high schools.

Edi Junaedi, who is in charge of primary education at the regency's education agency, said there were about 70,000 students who graduated from state and private elementary schools, as well as Muslim elementary schools, this year.

But the total number of seats at junior high schools is only 38,000, which includes 15,000 seats at state junior high schools.--JP
