Bogor KRL Services Reduced Until 30 September, Here's Why

More than a dozen electric train (KRL) journeys on the Bogor–Jakarta Kota route and its return service were cancelled this morning. KAI Commuter Indonesia (KCI) said the schedule adjustment for the Jabodetabek Commuter Line is temporary.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, said the schedule adjustment was made to match the number of train sets in operation.

“We are currently carrying out intensive maintenance on our KRL train sets for the sake of travel safety and security,” Karina said in a statement on Monday (7/9/2026).

She said that 17 Commuter Line journeys were being adjusted today, affecting morning, afternoon and evening departure schedules.

With the adjusted timetables, KAI Commuter is now operating 1,048 Commuter Line journeys across the entire network, down from the previous 1,065 journeys per day.

“We urge passengers to adjust their travel plans accordingly,” Karina said.

KCI will continue to provide regular updates on Commuter Line schedules and operations through station announcements, on-board notices, the C-Access application, and KAI Commuter’s official social media channels.

Karina said the maintenance is necessary to optimise services and reflects KAI Commuter’s commitment to passenger safety.

“We understand there will be some inconvenience for Commuter Line users during this maintenance period, and we apologise for the disruption,” Karina concluded.

As previously reported, a number of Bogor KRL journeys, namely the Bogor–Jakarta Kota service and its return, were cancelled today. KAI Commuter said the adjustment runs from today until 30 September.

“Dear Commuters, there will be adjustments to Commuter Line services from 7 to 30 September 2026,” KAI Commuter wrote on its official X (Twitter) account @CommuterLine.

5. Train 1231, Bogor–Jakarta Kota, departing from Bogor Station at 08:13 WIB

6. Train 1118, Depok–Bogor, departing from Depok Station at 04:56 WIB

7. Train 1124F, Depok–Bogor, departing from Depok Station at 05:33 WIB

8. Train 1154, Jakarta Kota–Bogor, departing from Jakarta Kota Station at 05:36 WIB

9. Train 1008, Manggarai–Bogor, departing from Manggarai Station at 06:56 WIB
