Bogor–Jakarta Kota KRL Disrupted, Transjakarta Adds Buses on Routes D11 and 4B
Bogor–Jakarta Kota KRL services were disrupted after a member of the public was struck by a train near Tebet Station. To ease passenger congestion, PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has added buses on route D11 Depok Terminal–Cawang Sentral and route 4B UI Station–Manggarai.
“As a concrete implementation of the MoU on public transport resilience handling that was just signed with intermodal operators, Transjakarta moved quickly to respond to the operational disruption on the Commuter Line Bogor–Jakarta Kota route on the Pasar Minggu–Manggarai section,” said Transjakarta Head of Public Relations and CSR Department Ayu Wardhani in a statement on Thursday (20/8/2026).
Transjakarta is operating additional support buses on the two routes. The buses serve route D11 Depok Terminal–Cawang Sentral and route 4B UI Station–Manggarai. Buses have also been prepared as a travel alternative for people who need another mode of transport.
“Transjakarta officers have also been deployed on the ground. They are tasked with ensuring the support fleet operates smoothly and helping to ease passenger build-up,” she said.
Transjakarta said this intermodal integration measure was taken to maintain smooth public mobility amid the operational disruption to Commuter Line services.
It is known that KRL journeys on the Bogor–Jakarta Kota line were hampered this morning. The incident occurred after a member of the public was struck near Tebet Station.
“We apologise for the delay to the Bogor–Jakarta Kota Commuter Line in connection with train KA 1183 striking a person between Pasar Minggu and Manggarai stations at 06.35, at KM 12+7 near Tebet Station,” said KAI Commuter VP Corporate Secretary Karina Amanda on Thursday (20/8).
The incident is currently being handled by officers. KAI Commuter said KRL journeys are still waiting for inspection of the train set at Tebet Station.
“It is currently still being handled by officers, and the KA1183 train set is being inspected at Tebet Station. This has impacted delays to Commuter Line journeys on the Bogor–Jakarta Kota line,” she explained.
