Bogor-Jakarta Commuter Line Disrupted, Single Track Operation at Bojong Gede

Commuter line services on the Bogor-Jakarta route experienced delays this afternoon due to an operational disruption at Bojong Gede Station in Bogor, West Java. “At 1.38 p.m. this afternoon, an operational disruption occurred involving Commuterline rolling stock at Bojonggede Station and it is currently being handled by officers, along with preparations to provide a replacement KRL train set,” said Karina Amanda, VP Corporate Secretary of PT KAI Commuter, to reporters on Sunday (9/8/2026). Despite the obstruction, Bogor-Jakarta KRL journeys are still being conducted using a single track alternately at Bojong Gede Station. KCI conveyed its apologies for the disruption to KRL services. “We apologise for the disruption that has occurred,” she stated. KCI also urged passengers to follow directions and information from officers in the field. “We also urge all passengers to access KAI Commuter’s social media channels to obtain the latest updates on commuterline conditions,” she added.
