Bogor DPRD Speaker says WTP opinion proves improved governance

Bogor Regency DPRD Speaker Sastra Winara considers the achievement of an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on the Bogor Regency Government’s Financial Report for the 2025 Fiscal Year as proof that local governance is improving.

Sastra conveyed this in Bogor after the Bogor Regency Government once again received the WTP opinion from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative Office for West Java for its Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year in Bandung on Wednesday.

According to him, successfully maintaining the WTP opinion for two consecutive years under the leadership of Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto demonstrates the local government’s commitment to transparent and accountable financial management.

“This is a tremendous achievement in governance. This WTP opinion shows that Bogor Regency’s regional financial management is running well and in accordance with applicable regulations. This is true good government,” Sastra said.

He expressed appreciation for the entire Bogor Regency Government for successfully maintaining the quality of regional financial management, thereby once again receiving the highest assessment from the BPK.

“This achievement results from the collective work of all regional apparatuses as well as the support of the Bogor Regency DPRD in carrying out its oversight and budgeting functions,” he stated.

Sastra hopes that the WTP opinion can continue to be maintained, serving as motivation to improve the quality of public services and strengthen clean and professional governance.

He affirmed that the WTP predicate is not only an indicator of success in regional financial management, but must also be followed by improved government performance that can be directly felt by the community.

Previously, the Bogor Regency Government successfully maintained the WTP opinion for the 2025 Fiscal Year LKPD after having also reclaimed this predicate for its 2024 financial report.
