Bogor DPRD Chief Urges Women Entrepreneurs to Strengthen Leadership and Regional Economy

The Chairman of the Bogor Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Adityawarman Adil, has called on members of the Indonesian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWAPI) to strengthen their leadership character and strategic role in regional economic development. Speaking at a leadership event held by the Bogor City branch of IWAPI, Adityawarman highlighted the unique capacity of women to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. “A female entrepreneur’s duties are numerous; she is a true multitasker. On one hand, she must manage the household and care for her family, and on the other, she is busy serving the community. If both home and community affairs can be managed well, that is truly extraordinary,” he said. He stressed that the essence of leadership lies not merely in profit-making but in the sincerity to provide benefits to others, noting that social awareness is a defining trait of a true leader. Meanwhile, Bogor City IWAPI Chairperson Dhany Rose stated that the event aimed to equip the organisation’s approximately 150 members with a deeper understanding of leadership within the organisation. She added that the programme also provided training on social media utilisation and digitalisation to support business development, with the ultimate goal of strengthening collaboration to advance MSMEs and the local economy.
