Bogor DPRD Chairman Hones Leadership Skills at National Akmil Course

Bogor City (ANTARA) - Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, honed his leadership skills by attending the Regional Leadership Enhancement Course (KPPD) at the Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang, Central Java, from 15 to 19 April 2026. In a statement received in Bogor, West Java, on Thursday, Adityawarman explained that his participation forms part of a commitment to improve the quality of local governance. The event was attended by hundreds of legislative leaders from provincial to district/city levels across Indonesia, aiming to strengthen leadership capacity and synchronise policies between the central and regional governments. “We are attending the regional leadership enhancement course organised by Lemhannas and the Ministry of Home Affairs,” he said. “May it proceed smoothly and further solidify our national and societal insights,” he added. The five-day course equipped participants with materials on strategic leadership, national insights, and discipline training adopting military development patterns. The programme also emphasised the importance of synchronising central and regional policies to ensure more effective implementation of local development in line with the national agenda. In addition to strengthening leadership capacity, this national-scale event also provided economic benefits to the host area, with increased hotel occupancy and activity among micro, small, and medium enterprises in Magelang City.
