Bogor DPRD Chairman Brings Retreat Spirit to Regional Programmes
Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Sastra Winara, has reaffirmed his commitment to bringing the spirit from the results of the Indonesian DPRD leadership retreat into regional development programmes. In a statement received in Bogor Regency, West Java, on Friday, Sastra said that the retreat at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, from 15 to 19 April 2026, served as an important momentum to strengthen national insight and synergy among legislative leaders from various regions. “This retreat is very positive for building a better Indonesia. In addition to strengthening national insight, this activity also serves as a forum to strengthen synergy among DPRD chairmen from all regions,” said Sastra. According to him, the outcomes of the event must not stop at the level of discussion but must be translated into concrete programmes that directly impact the community in the regions. He emphasised the importance of collaboration between the legislature and the executive so that various development policies can run effectively and in line with national policy directions. Sastra also mentioned that the retreat provided a strategic space for DPRD chairmen to exchange experiences and ideas in managing regional governance. Through that forum, various regional development challenges were discussed together to find solutions that can be implemented in each region. He added that the inter-regional communication built during the retreat is hoped to continue in order to strengthen cross-regional cooperation. Meanwhile, the Governor of the National Resilience Institute, Ace Hasan Syadzily, explained that the retreat aims to produce regional leaders with statesmanlike character, integrity, and national insight. He said that the activity is also part of efforts to align visions between the central government and regions in welcoming Golden Indonesia 2045. “Through this activity, DPRD chairmen can bring new spirit in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in their respective regions, including in strengthening synergy between the legislature and executive for the progress of the region and the nation,” said Ace.
