The Head of the Economic and Banking Sub-Directorate (Ekbank) of the Metro Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Directorate, AKBP Robby Syahfery, stated that MP is suspected of printing Rp 100,000 denomination notes amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah.

“Personnel secured suspected counterfeit Rp 100,000 notes with a total value of around Rp 620 million,” Robby said in his statement on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

During the arrest, police also seized several pieces of evidence used in producing the counterfeit money, including printing machines (printers), paper cutters, stacks of A4 paper, and several other tools.
