Bogor Civil Servants on WFH Every Friday to Face Sanctions for Delaying Message Replies by 5 Minutes

Bogor City Government will impose sanctions on civil servants (ASN) who work from home (WFH) every Friday and fail to reply to messages. ASN in Bogor who are WFH must respond quickly, no more than five minutes, and answer calls within fewer than three attempts during work from home (WFH). This is stipulated in Circular Letter (SE) Number 800.1.5/1633-BKPSDM of 2026, Regarding Adjustment of Employee Work Mechanisms for Budget Efficiency and Energy Savings in the Bogor City Government Environment. “Responsive and easily reachable during WFH (answering work calls with the requirement of fewer than 3 calls, and responding to work messages with a maximum of 5 minutes),” states the SE. The Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Bogor City, Dani Rahadian, explained that the implementation follows central government regulations. “Yes, they must be on and must respond.
