Bogor City Satpol PP Civil Servant Allegedly Pledges Subordinates' Appointment Letters for Personal Gain, Not Institutional Purposes
BOGOR - The Head of the Finance Sub-Section at the Bogor City Satpol PP, with initials IJ, is said to have pledged a Decree (SK) of one of his subordinates for personal interests, not for the institution. Bogor City Satpol PP Secretary Wawan Sanwani explained that the leadership has summoned the victims and the perpetrator. They were examined internally by the Satpol PP and the Bogor City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM). The loan agreement was made by the perpetrator with a guarantee of repayment within a not-too-long period. The promised tenor varied. “It varies as promised, some one year, some in months. So each is different,” Wawan said. The case was uncovered in 2025 after the victims reported to the BKPSDM because the instalments promised by the official were delayed. In 2022, the husband of Desi asked for permission to allow his name to be used by IJ. Desi at that time gave permission to her husband. “Well, from there, IJ personally said to me, ‘Ma’am, I won’t allow employees or staff to borrow money from the bank without permission from their wife. That’s why I brought you here, I’m borrowing your husband’s name,’ IJ said,” Desi told reporters on Monday. Desi allowed IJ to use her husband’s name to pledge the SK. However, with the note to pay the instalments smoothly. After that, one of the banks in Bogor City approved a loan of Rp 100 million by IJ using the name of Desi’s husband, Hartarti. “After receiving the money of Rp 100 million, there was an admin deduction, and principal savings deduction. The Rp 100 million is for me personally, yes, personally,” she explained. The Rp 100 million is to be repaid in instalments of Rp 2,080,000 over 10 years.
