Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Bogor City has rehabilitated 32 rooms valued at Rp5.55 billion through President Prabowo Subianto’s Best Quick Results Programme (PHTC) to improve the comfort of the teaching and learning process. Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs H.R. Muhammad Syafi’i inspected the programme’s implementation in Bogor City, West Java, and stated that the work had been carried out well. In a statement in Jakarta on Thursday, he said the budget of Rp5.55 billion was used for classroom rehabilitation, building repairs, toilet construction, and the procurement of new furniture. According to Syafi’i, the quality of work at MTsN Bogor City met expectations, with the building conditions now neater, cleaner, and supported by better learning facilities. He expressed hope that the entire PHTC implementation across various regions would maintain work quality so that the allocated budget truly benefits the education sector. Head of MTsN Bogor City Ahmad Tarmiji said the rehabilitation addressed various building damages, including a previously leaking roof, and replaced old, damaged furniture. According to Ahmad, the facility improvements have made the teaching and learning process more comfortable for both teachers and students. A number of students also expressed their delight at being able to study in the rehabilitated classrooms and hoped the facilities would support their enthusiasm for learning.
