Bogor City Government to Hold 2026 Eid al-Adha Prayer at Al Muttaqin Mosque

Bogor — The Bogor City Government (Pemkot Bogor) will hold the 2026 Eid al-Adha prayer at Al Muttaqin Mosque in North Bogor, West Java.

Mayor Dedie A. Rachim stated the location was chosen as it is one of the city’s larger mosques. He also invited the Bogor City Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) to attend the Eid prayer service at Al Muttaqin.

“We have chosen this venue for the city-level Eid prayer this year, meaning all Forkopimda members are invited to attend the Eid prayer at Al Muttaqin,” he said.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has set the date for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriyah on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. The decision was made during the sidang isbat for the start of Zulhijah 1447 Hijriyah held on Sunday, 17 May 2026.

“It was agreed that 1 Zulhijah 1447 Hijriyah falls on Monday, 18 May 2026, thus Eid al-Adha 1447 H on 10 Zulhijah falls on Wednesday, 27 May 2026,” said Nasaruddin Umar during a press conference in Jakarta.
