Bogor City DPRD member from the PKS faction, M. Dody Hikmawan, attended the launch of the 2026 Temporary Labour-Intensive Programme at the Cilendek Barat Sub-district Office, West Bogor District. The programme, which runs until 27 June 2026, is one of the Bogor City Government’s efforts to provide temporary employment opportunities for the community while simultaneously supporting the handling of social and environmental issues. A total of 100 residents from Cilendek Barat Sub-district, drawn from Desil 1 to Desil 5 community groups, are participating in the programme. Each participant receives a daily wage of Rp120,000 for the 10-day duration. The Labour-Intensive Programme is a community aspiration championed through the principal ideas of Bogor City DPRD member M. Dody Hikmawan and implemented by the Bogor City Manpower Office (Disnaker) together with the Environmental Office (DLH), the Social Office (Dinsos), the Cilendek Barat Sub-district, and the West Bogor District. Head of the Bogor City Manpower Office, Adi Novian, stated that the programme is one of the local government’s steps to help the community face economic challenges while reducing unemployment. ‘This programme is part of the effort to alleviate poverty in Bogor City. There are currently more than 48,000 unemployed residents in Bogor City. Therefore, the government continues to strive to present various programmes that can provide direct benefits to the community,’ said Adi. Meanwhile, Dody Hikmawan assessed that the Temporary Labour-Intensive Programme is a form of collaboration between the local government and the DPRD in delivering programmes that provide direct benefits to the community. ‘With this programme, the Bogor City Government together with the DPRD is present in the midst of the community to help address the problems faced by residents. Hopefully, this Temporary Employment Programme can slightly help the community’s economy, while also maintaining a cleaner, more organised environment and providing benefits for the wider community,’ said Dody. Through the Labour-Intensive Programme, the community not only gains temporary additional income but also contributes to creating a cleaner and more organised environment. This programme is expected to become a stimulus for improving community welfare, especially for vulnerable and low-income families in Bogor City.
