Bogor City DPRD Invites PIM to Synergise in Tackling Stunting and Advancing MSMEs
The Chairman of the Bogor City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Dr. Adityawarman Adil, accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Bogor City DPRD, Abdul Rosyid, received an audience from the board of Perempuan Indonesia Maju (PIM) Bogor Raya in the VIP Room on the 4th Floor of the Bogor City DPRD Building, West Java, on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. The meeting discussed strategies for collaboration and the synergy of community empowerment programmes in Bogor City.
The Chairwoman of PIM Bogor Raya, Siti Nurlaela, explained that PIM is an inclusive platform for women from various professional backgrounds, ranging from entrepreneurs, teachers, and notaries to housewives who share a spirit of progress and a desire to contribute.
Siti affirmed PIM Bogor Raya’s readiness to support the work programmes of the local government and the Bogor City DPRD, particularly on social and economic issues affecting the community. “Our work programmes are ready to support the government’s efforts, such as stunting prevention, the organisation of affordable food bazaars, and various other social activities,” she said.
She added that PIM Bogor Raya has several focus areas ready to be synergised, including the micro, small, and medium enterprises sector; the creative economy; health; education; tourism; and the environment.
In response, Adityawarman welcomed PIM Bogor Raya’s initiative in building a strategic partnership for the advancement of the region.
“I would like to thank PIM Bogor Raya for visiting the Bogor City DPRD to collaborate. We have high hopes that this synergy can continue to run sustainably for the empowerment of the community,” he said.
Similar support was expressed by Abdul Rosyid. He welcomed the presence of community elements, particularly women, who are actively involved in overseeing environmental issues, development, and social welfare.
“We in Commission III strongly support PIM Bogor Raya’s steps. Synergy between the DPRD, the City Government, and community organisations such as PIM is greatly needed, especially in overseeing environmentally friendly development, improving the quality of family life, and driving economic movement at the grassroots level,” he said.
