Bogor Car Free Day Cancelled This Sunday, Replaced by Ramadhan Fest 2026

Residents who regularly enjoy the Car Free Day (CFD) in the Cibinong area, Bogor Regency, should note this important information.

According to the Instagram account @carfreedaycibinong, Bogor CFD will be suspended on Sunday, 1 March 2026. For the time being, morning sports activities and leisure walks along Jalan Tegar Beriman will be discontinued.

Typically, Bogor CFD is held every Sunday from 06.00 to 09.00 WIB with full closure of Jalan Tegar Beriman.

This closure transforms the Bogor Regency government centre into a comfortable public open space for sports, family recreation, and community activities without motor vehicle interference.

However, during Ramadan, the Bogor Regency Government is redirecting its focus to a special event called Ramadhan Fest 2026, held at the Tegar Beriman area from 26 February to 4 March 2026.

The event is located in front of the Tegar Beriman Building Lobby in Bogor Regency. The activity serves as a hub for community activities during the holy month with a stronger emphasis on religious and entertainment elements.

During previous CFD implementations, the Bogor Regency Government has consistently implemented traffic engineering to maintain smooth traffic flow around Cibinong. Vehicles from Bojonggede heading towards Jakarta are typically diverted through Cikaret. Traffic from Jalan Raya Jakarta–Bogor towards Bojonggede is directed through Cikaret or Karadenan.

With the suspension of CFD today, traffic flow around Jalan Tegar Beriman is normal, with no traffic diversions in place.
