Body found under garbage

BOGOR (JP): The body of a man buried by garbage in Rancamaya
on Saturday was found yesterday.

The body, identified as that of Usup, 25, was discovered at
8:30 a.m. by his brothers after a lengthy search.

A number of police and military officers, assisted by local
residents, searched for Usup's body with the help of a bulldozer
as soon as they heard Usup had been buried at the site on June 6.
The search, however, was stopped four days later after they
failed to locate the body.

Kodir, the young brother of Usup, said he and his older
brother, Dadang, and Usup's brother-in-law, Ajat, started the
search again yesterday, this time starting from where a bad smell
emanated.

"We started digging from different directions early in the
morning," Kodir said.

One witness, Marhum, said Usup had been buried when the bank
of a nearby river gave way and struck the rubbish dump in which
Usup was standing. The riverbank had been reinforced nine months
