Body found at tourist resort

MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara (JP): Tourists at the Gili (islet)
Terawangan in West Lombok regency had their picnic disrupted last
week when some of them came across the decomposed body of a man
lying on the white sandy beach.

Antara quoted a doctor at the Mataram Hospital, some 30
kilometer away, as saying that the as yet unidentified body was
promptly brought in there for autopsy.

Dr. H. Mochdar said the health workers found it difficult to
ascertain the cause of death because of the advanced stage of its
decomposition. The body was later buried at the Karang Medain
public cemetery. (swe)
