Body found amid wrecks

PEKALONGAN, Central Java: Workers clearing the Nusantara Port
of debris from dozens of boats wrecked in a recent flash flood
found on Sunday the badly decomposed body of an unidentified man.

Antara reported yesterday that the man's face was
unrecognizable. The authorities found on the body a resignation
letter written by Asmui, a sailor on a ship operating in Irian
Jaya. They also found some money.

Police suspect the man drowned in last month's Loji River
