A family in Cililin, West Bandung Regency, caused a stir when they transported an exhumed body wrapped in a shroud on a motorcycle. The body, which belonged to a family patriarch buried in 1985, was being relocated to a new cemetery.

Imam Mujahidin, the head of Batulayang Village, confirmed that the family had decided to move the grave from the Pasir Meong area in Cililin Village to a public cemetery in RW 04, Batulayang Village. The decision was made because the deceased’s children now reside in Batulayang, and the relocation would make it easier for children and grandchildren to visit the grave.

Upon exhumation, the family was surprised to find the body still intact despite being buried for 41 years. Due to the short distance, the family opted to transport the remains by motorcycle to the new burial site.
