Body Analyzer and Palm Vein Recognition Technology to Facilitate Hajj Pilgrim Screening
Technology solution provider PT Indo Artha Multitek has introduced a range of smart health innovations and integrated digital security systems. This move is aimed at supporting digital transformation and improving the quality of governance in the administration of Hajj and Umint pilgrimages in Indonesia.
The entire portfolio of cutting-edge technology was showcased publicly at the International Hajj and Umrah Expo, held at the Jakarta Hajj International Convention Center (JHICC) Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (26/06/2026).
The Chief Marketing Officer of PT Indo Artha Multitek, Tania Razif, explained that the integration of information technology is now an absolute necessity to address the increasing complexity of pilgrim services in the future. Without digitalisation, achieving optimal service efficiency acceleration will be difficult.
“We are presenting various solutions, ranging from health technology and pilgrim tracking systems to more efficient data management for the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem,” said Tania on Saturday (27/06/2026).
During the exhibition, two main innovative products were highlighted, which are projected to strengthen the national public service ecosystem. The first is Body Analyzer technology, a mass body condition scanning tool based on Korean technology. This instrument is designed to perform rapid initial health screenings for prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims before departure, and has the potential to be deployed in public areas such as airports, healthcare facilities, and schools.
The second is the Palm Vein Recognition system, an identification and attendance technology based on scanning the blood vessel patterns in the palm of the hand. This biometric variant offers a higher level of accuracy and security compared to fingerprint or retina scanning systems, while also minimising physical contact (contactless), thereby making the pilgrim data verification process faster.
Tania ensured that all digital devices and systems being marketed have obtained official legal permits in Indonesia. The products have been declared to have passed quality tests, possess the required certifications, and meet all regulatory licensing requirements before being distributed to the public.
Through the launch of this new technology line, Tania stated that the company is committed to opening spaces for cross-sector collaboration with government agencies, travel organiser associations, and relevant stakeholders to realise a safe, comfortable, and modern standard of Hajj service.
