Bocimi Functional Toll Section 3 Open Until 5:00 PM WIB

SUKABUMI - Traffic flow on the functional route of the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road was observed to be dense on the third day after Eid al-Fitr. The density occurred alongside the increasing mobility of the public heading to tourist areas in Sukabumi. Since the first day of operation on Saturday, 14 March 2026, until the ninth day on 22 March 2026, the functional route has been traversed by around 19,000 vehicles, dominated by the flow of people returning home to Sukabumi and its surroundings. The Head of the BORR and Bocimi Toll Road Traffic Management Unit, Kompol Suwito, stated that the operation of this functional toll is implemented every day from 07:00 to 17:00 WIB. “Because it gets dark and there is no public street lighting yet, we close at 17:00 WIB,” quoted from an official statement on Tuesday (24/3/2026). To anticipate density, officers have also prepared traffic dispersal teams along the functional route. Suwito also advised the public who will cross the Bocimi functional route to ensure travel readiness. “Prepare the vehicle, complete the documents, and ensure the driver’s condition is in prime shape. Remember, family is waiting at home safely,” he said. Density is also occurring in the direction of Parungkuda. This is triggered by the high interest of the public heading to the Pelabuhan Ratu beach tourist area. “For the direction to Parungkuda, it’s quite dense because there is the Pelabuhan Ratu tourism spot. So the enthusiasm from Sukabumi and Bogor residents is quite high,” he said.
