BOC wins RI contract

LONDON (Reuter): BOC Plc said yesterday that its BOC Gases
division and a joint venture partner had won a contract to supply
oxygen and power to PT Smelting Co in East Java, Indonesia.

In a statement, BOC Gases said it would invest 70 million
pounds in the project with its joint venture partner, Garama
Group of Indonesia. It said the contract was the largest ever
awarded to BOC Gases.
