Bobby Rizaldi's Home Searched, KPK Now Investigating His Role in BPK Muara Enim Audit Bribery Case
The role of Audit Board (BPK) member V Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi in the alleged bribery case concerning the conditioning of BPK audit results in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, is currently being investigated. ‘This is what investigators are still tracing and looking into,’ said Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. He stated that the investigation is being conducted to trace the roles of parties other than the five suspects already named by the anti-corruption agency. ‘Whether, apart from those already named as suspects, there are roles played by other parties that are indeed significant in the construction of the case related to the alleged conditioning of the BPK audit findings,’ he said. When asked whether there was already testimony from witnesses or suspects regarding Bobby Rizaldi’s connection to the case, Budi said the KPK could not yet disclose this to the public. ‘Regarding what the clues are, and from which party, this is certainly still part of the investigation material that we cannot convey. However, of course, some of the statements already given by the suspects or witnesses also serve as clues for investigators to then trace further to other parties,’ he added. Previously, the KPK arrested 10 people in a sting operation (OTT) on 7–8 June 2026. Five people were arrested in Jakarta and five others in South Sumatra. In the KPK’s 12th OTT of 2026, Muara Enim Regent Edison was among those detained. On 9 June 2026, the KPK named four suspects in a bribery case related to the procurement of goods and services and other receipts within the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025–2026 Fiscal Year. The four suspects are Edison, Muara Enim Education and Culture Agency Secretary Abi Nurwardani, marketing employee of PT Millenium Solusi Abadi Cory Erin Hardi, and Adi Triyadi, Edison’s nephew. The KPK then conducted a follow-up OTT on 10 June 2026 and arrested five BPK civil servants. That operation was the KPK’s 13th OTT of 2026. Subsequently, on 11 June 2026, the KPK named five suspects in a bribery case related to the conditioning of BPK audit results for the Muara Enim Regency Government for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
