Member V of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia, Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, has completed his examination at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday (16/7). He spoke briefly when asked about the alleged bribery case related to BPK findings on several procurements in the Muara Enim Regency Government, South Sumatra, for which he was questioned as a witness. Accompanied by several individuals whose backgrounds were not disclosed, he left the KPK office at 19.13 WIB. “Everything has been conveyed to the investigators and we fully support this process,” Bobby said at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday evening. The KPK has yet to issue a statement regarding Bobby’s examination. Previously, on 13 and 14 July, KPK investigators searched Bobby’s residence in Cipete, South Jakarta, and seized electronic evidence allegedly related to the case. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo previously stated that investigators would confirm the evidence, including Bobby’s relationship with one of the detained suspects, Augusz Dewanggara, also known as Angga. “Whether this AG (Angga) is a representative of BB (Bobby Rizaldi) who is internal to BPK, this is what we are still investigating, what AG’s position at BPK is or whether he represents a certain party,” Budi said on Wednesday (15/7). “This is also what we are still tracing, why the person concerned was able to enter and have close access to the audit process at BPK,” he continued. The KPK had previously searched the BPK office in South Sumatra. Evidence seized included audit working papers, documents on changes from a Qualified Opinion (WDP) to an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) specifically for the Muara Enim Regency Government, documents related to attempts to make further changes after the KPK’s sting operation, and indications of intervention from the central BPK to alter the audit findings. The KPK has named five suspects and detained them at the State Detention Centre (Rutan). Three individuals are suspected of giving bribes: Edison, the Regent of Muara Enim for the 2025-2030 period, and Cory Erin Hardi and Fika from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi. Two others are suspected of receiving bribes: Titin Rita Lestari, a BPK civil servant and technical controller, and Augusz Dewanggara, also known as Angga, a private sector party. Angga was also examined today.
