Bobby Nasution Partners with OJK to Support 3 Million Houses Programme in North Sumatra
According to Bobby, accelerating the programme to provide housing for the community requires collaboration between various parties, including the financial services sector under the coordination of the OJK. He expressed this during an audience with the OJK North Sumatra officials at the North Sumatra Governor’s Office in Medan on Wednesday.
“As this is a Central Government programme also supported by local governments, we hope for support from the OJK to accelerate its implementation. We are actively assisting and supporting the Three Million Houses Programme,” Bobby stated in a written release on Thursday.
As a form of support, the North Sumatra Provincial Government has prepared subsidies for Home Ownership Loans (KPR). He noted that several obstacles remain which require the support and synergy of the OJK to ensure the programme operates optimally.
During the meeting, Bobby also proposed the establishment of a forum between regional heads and the financial services sector. This forum is considered vital for accommodating the aspirations of regional leaders in North Sumatra regarding various development programmes and regional economic strengthening.
“This needs to be done so that input from the grassroots level can also be heard. Furthermore, various government programmes and economic sectors that can run in tandem can be discussed beforehand to ensure more effective implementation,” said Bobby.
Regarding the change in leadership at OJK North Sumatra, Bobby expressed his appreciation to the OJK officials. It is noted that the position of Head of OJK North Sumatra Province is now held by Triyoga Laksito, succeeding Khoirul Muttaqien.
Meanwhile, the Head of OJK North Sumatra, Triyoga Laksito, reaffirmed his commitment to continuously strengthening collaboration with local governments at both the Provincial and Regency/City levels. “We are committed to continuously aligning OJK programmes with the Provincial Government as well as Regency and City Governments. Any existing shortcomings will be addressed to ensure that the synergy built moving forward is increasingly solid,” concluded Triyoga.
