Bobby Entrusts Three Messages to North Sumatra Acting Regional Secretary

Medan (ANTARA) - North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution has entrusted three important messages to Timur Tumanggor, who was inaugurated as the Acting Regional Secretary of North Sumatra Province. “I am entrusting three important messages to Mr Timur Tumanggor,” said Bobby after administering the oath of office for Timur as Acting Regional Secretary at the Governor’s Office on Friday. The first message, Bobby stated, is to maintain the conduciveness of all regional apparatus organisations (OPD) within the North Sumatra Provincial Government by strengthening collaboration. This collaboration includes the legislative and judicial institutions, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and all stakeholders in North Sumatra Province. The second message relates to Timur’s role as Chairman of the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD). Bobby requested that budget preparation prioritise three matters. These three matters are supporting central government policies, ensuring the success of the North Sumatra Province Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), and supporting development in the 33 regencies and cities. “I ask that these three points in the future budget must be able to run in tandem without harming one another or other matters,” Bobby stressed. For the third message, Bobby reminded Timur to uphold the trust placed in him in carrying out his daily duties. According to him, the position of Acting Regional Secretary of North Sumatra is a mandate that must be executed well so that the public can feel the presence of the Provincial Government through the various policies produced. Timur Tumanggor currently serves as the Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Agency (BKAD) of North Sumatra Province. Previously, he served as the Regional Secretary of Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. “Guard the trust, do not engage in ‘underhand dealings’. No budget corruption, no budget ‘mark-ups’,” said Bobby. The Governor also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the performance of Sulaiman Harahap, who previously carried out the duties as Acting Regional Secretary of North Sumatra. “This change of Acting Regional Secretary has been determined by the central government. We wish Mr Timur Tumanggor all the best in his duties as the Acting Regional Secretary of North Sumatra,” he said.
