Bob Hasan's fan club

JAKARTA (JP): Reporters on a quest for the great quote of the day are not the only people tracking timber tycoon Muhammad "Bob" Hasan these days.

As the member of the People's Consultative Assembly was attacked with "tough questions" from swarming reporters Monday, a young woman squeezed herself into the group and handed Bob a notepad and a pen.

"May I have your autograph, sir," muttered the flustered woman in her early 20s.

Bob responded to the request, happy to get a break from the barrage of questions.

"Now this is better," he said cheerily. (das)
