Jakarta – The cryptocurrency asset and property industries are increasingly interconnected through blockchain technology utilisation, particularly through property asset tokenisation.

Property tokenisation is a process in which the value of physical property is represented as digital tokens that can be purchased, sold, and traded on blockchain platforms. Each token represents partial ownership of the property, enabling investors to participate in the property market more flexibly.

Based on data from the Deloitte Center for Financial Services, the property tokenisation market is projected to grow from approximately US$300 billion in 2024 to US$4 trillion by 2035. This projection demonstrates the significant potential for integration between the property sector and blockchain technology in the future.

To capitalise on this opportunity, cryptocurrency investment platform Pintu has partnered with the Indonesian Boarding House Association (ARKI). Pintu’s Senior Vice President Strategy and Business Andy Putra expressed appreciation for ARKI members who have opened collaborative spaces and discussions regarding the boarding house and cryptocurrency asset industries.

Putra observed that ARKI members were very receptive and enthusiastic about learning how cryptocurrency asset investments work, including understanding their benefits and risks. “We hope this partnership can provide added value and comprehensive understanding regarding the digital asset industry,” he stated on Monday, 2 March 2026.

Putra provided education on the fundamentals of cryptocurrency asset investment, risk management, and the importance of conducting research before investing. This education aims to enable boarding house operators to manage their business proceeds in a more diversified and measured manner.

“Going forward, we hope Pintu and ARKI can continue to be strategic partners. We also believe that cross-industry collaboration like this can expand digital financial literacy and open asset diversification opportunities for boarding house operators across Indonesia,” Putra added.

ARKI Chairman Florencia Irena Lipin described Pintu’s presence as a very positive and innovative step. She assessed that Pintu helps provide new insights to boarding house owners that rental income profits can be managed more productively through digital assets.

“Moreover, Pintu’s user-friendly application interface makes it easier for boarding house operators new to cryptocurrency assets, most of whom are from Generation X. This demonstrates that traditional property businesses such as boarding houses remain adaptive to developments in financial technology,” she explained.
