BNPB urges Solok Regency to study office areas before reconstruction

The Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Suharyanto, on Thursday (24/9), requested the Solok Regency government in West Sumatra to conduct an in-depth study before proceeding with the reconstruction or relocation of the local government centre following the flash floods.

He requested that such studies involve universities so that decisions made are based on scientific knowledge, ensuring that government centres and public services can operate safely from the threat of future disasters.
