North Aceh: Four GAM leaders were transferred from Medan police

North Aceh: Four GAM leaders were transferred from Medan police
to North Aceh police. They four are Mustafa Ibrahim, GAM
commander for Cot Koplan area in North Aceh, his wife Nurlina,
Nurdin Ibrahim, a GAM coordinator for Medan and Iswandi.

Military forces found various weapons, home-made bombs,
ammunition, cables and detonators in Matangkuli village, Tanah
Luas district.

Military personnel found car ownership documents issued by GAM
police for the Samudera Pasai area. The Military said car owners
were charged by GAM Rp 1 million (US$120) per car per annum and
Rp 100,000 per month.

Aceh Besar: Aceh governor Abdullah Puteh issued an instruction
ordering all civil servants in Aceh to use their official
uniforms, and all district heads to stay in the respective
district capitals.

Bireuen: Police ordered all cellular phone owners in Bireuen who
use a Simpati brand card to report to the police and buy Simpati
credit vouchers from the police so the phones can be monitored.
