Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Narcotics Agency of DKI Jakarta Province (BNNP DKI Jakarta) has involved Sekolah Rakyat in its flagship programme, Ananda Bersinar (National Action Against Narcotics Starting from Drug-Free Children).

“As a form of programme continuity, BNNP DKI Jakarta has also appointed five supervised schools to be developed into ‘sekolah bersinar’, including the involvement of Sekolah Rakyat,” said the Head of BNN, Police Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto, during the inauguration of Sobat Ananda Bersinar for high school/vocational school/Islamic senior high school/Sekolah Rakyat students across DKI Jakarta in South Jakarta on Wednesday.

“We also held an educational content competition related to the dangers of drugs, published through the participants’ social media,” said Suyudi.

The competition offers a first prize of Rp3 million in cash for the winner.

The success of the programme is also supported by various parties, including former Heads of BNNP DKI Jakarta, namely Police Brigadier General (Ret.) Togar M Sianipar and Police Brigadier General (Ret.) Nurhadi Yuwono.

In addition, the programme featured speakers from government and legislative elements, consisting of Member of Commission III of the DPR, Police Commissioner General (Ret.)
