BNN Uncovers 715 Narcotics Cases, Seizures of Methamphetamine to Ecstasy Worth Rp211.4 Billion

Jakarta, 19 May 2026 – The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) revealed 715 narcotics cases during the Saber Bersinar 2026 operation conducted at its Jakarta office. The operation targeted narcotics trafficking via air routes, express courier shipments, land and sea routes. A total of 31 suspects were arrested, and authorities seized 136.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 147 kilograms of cannabis, 1,260 millilitres of etomidate, 1,029 grams of ketamine and 6,681 ecstasy tablets, with a combined value of Rp211.4 billion. Officials said the operation saved around 353,000 lives.
