BNN and South Jakarta PPKD Synergise Through Refrigeration Technician Training
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The South Jakarta National Narcotics Board (BNN) and the South Jakarta Regional Job Training Centre (PPKD) are strengthening their synergy through the third cohort of the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) for Refrigeration Technology training for 2026.
“Collaboration with PPKD is a strategic step towards building a healthy, productive, and independent society,” said the Head of BNN South Jakarta, Kombes Pol. Bambang Yudistira, during the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) at the SKKT Building in Bintaro, South Jakarta, on Thursday.
This collaboration serves as an implementation of the “Change Project” developed as part of the National Leadership Training (PKN) Level I of LAN RI Class LXVII, 2026, as well as the Prevention and Eradication of the Abuse and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics and Narcotics Precursors (P4GN).
According to Yudistira, providing skills to the community and rehabilitation clients is a vital part of the empowerment process, ensuring they have the opportunity to build a better future and contribute positively to society once again.
Meanwhile, the Head of PPKD South Jakarta, Budi Karlia Setiyanto, expressed full support for the partnership with BNN South Jakarta.
This synergy is expected to expand access to vocational training for the public, including rehabilitation clients, providing them with competencies that meet the needs of the workforce and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The signing of the agreement took place alongside the closing ceremony of the third cohort of the MTU Refrigeration Technology training for 2026.
The agreement was signed by the Head of BNN South Jakarta, Kombes Pol. Bambang Yudistira, and the Head of PPKD South Jakarta, Budi Karlia Setiyanto.
The event was also attended by the Head of Bintaro Village, Riza Fauzi, who expressed his commitment to supporting the sustainability of the training outcomes.
Riza Fauzi stated that the village administration is prepared to assist participants in the process of obtaining Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and will help provide access to job opportunities based on the competencies acquired.
As an implementation of this collaboration, 15 participants sent by BNN South Jakarta participated in the 22-day Mobile Training Unit (MTU) Refrigeration Technology training. This training serves as a foundation for participants to increase self-reliance, open employment opportunities, or develop their own businesses.
It is hoped that the participants and alumni of this training will become productive, independent, and competitive individuals, acting as agents of change capable of spreading the P4GN message within their workplaces, families, and communities.
