PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is continuing to strengthen its role as a strategic partner to the government and regulators in driving Indonesia’s digital economic transformation. This commitment was demonstrated through BNI’s participation in the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026, organised by Bank Indonesia (BI) at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on 4–5 July 2026. BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that the bank’s participation in the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026 is part of its commitment to continuously support BI’s initiatives in expanding digital transaction adoption, strengthening the implementation of QRIS, and building a more integrated national payment ecosystem. He emphasised that as a strategic partner to the government in the financial sector, BNI is committed to supporting BI’s efforts to accelerate the digitalisation of the payment system and strengthen the creative economy ecosystem. ‘Through the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026, we aim to deliver an easy, secure, and seamless transaction experience whilst introducing various financial solutions that can support the activities of the public and creative industry players,’ Okki said. Carrying the theme ‘A Creative Movement for A Sustainable Global City’, the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026 serves as a collaborative platform between Bank Indonesia, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), industry players, and creative communities to strengthen the creative economy ecosystem whilst accelerating digital transformation in Jakarta. The festival featured a variety of activities ranging from MSME exhibitions, financial education and literacy programmes, payment system digitalisation, sports competitions, music performances, to a film festival as part of efforts to build an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable ecosystem. According to Okki, digital transformation is not solely about technological development, but also about how financial services can provide convenience, security, and added value for every economic activity in society. Therefore, BNI continues to strengthen collaboration with regulators and various stakeholders so that financial service innovations can reach more people and business actors. ‘BNI believes that a strong creative economy ecosystem requires the support of a modern, inclusive, and easily accessible financial system,’ he said. Okki affirmed that BNI will continue to deliver service innovations that not only facilitate transactions but also support the productivity of the public and creative business actors, as well as drive sustainable national economic growth. ‘The synergy with Bank Indonesia through the Jakarta Kreatif Festival is a tangible manifestation of that commitment,’ he stated. Entering its 80th anniversary on 5 July 2026, BNI continues to strengthen digital transformation and expand financial inclusion as part of its service to the nation. In line with the spirit of Swadharma Bhakti Negara, BNI is committed to remaining a trusted partner for the government, regulators, the business world, and the public in building an increasingly advanced, inclusive, and competitive Indonesian digital economy ecosystem. Over eight decades, BNI believes that collaboration is the key to creating a broader impact on the national economy. Therefore, the company will continue to support strategic initiatives that strengthen the creative economy, expand financial inclusion, and accelerate digital transformation to drive Indonesia’s sustainable growth.
