PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has obtained a Professional Certification Body (LSP) licence from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), along with ISO 21001:2018 certification and a Letter of Compliance for ISO 30422:2022 through its BNI Corporate University. These achievements strengthen human resource development governance at BNI through the operation of the BNSP-licensed LSP and the application of international standards at BNI Corporate University. The three achievements were formalised in a ceremony at Grha BNI, Jakarta, on 6 August 2026. During the ceremony, BNSP Chairman Syamsi Hari presented the LSP licence to BNI Director of Human Capital and Compliance Munadi Herlambang. LSP BNI obtained its licence from BNSP on 19 June 2026, enabling it to conduct professional competency certification in a professional, objective, independent, and accountable manner according to applicable competency standards. In the initial phase, LSP BNI provides seven certification schemes covering strategic areas, ranging from general banking to internal audit. The scope of certification will be expanded in line with industry developments, including digital banking, artificial intelligence, risk management, and information technology. BNI Director of Human Capital and Compliance Munadi Herlambang stated that the LSP is an important part of ensuring that employee competency development is carried out measurably and relevantly to the needs of the banking industry. He added that the LSP serves as a key foundation for building competent human resources while strengthening corporate governance. Competency certification ensures that every BNI employee has a standard of professionalism that supports the company’s business transformation. In addition to strengthening competency certification, BNI Corporate University obtained ISO 21001:2018 certification on 15 May 2026 and a Letter of Compliance for ISO 30422:2022 on 4 August 2026. This recognition affirms that the governance of learning and talent development is increasingly systematic, oriented towards learner needs, and refers to international best practices. Munadi said BNI will continue to improve the quality and capability of the LSP so that it not only supports internal needs but can also become a reference in human resource development for the national banking industry. The strengthening of the learning and certification ecosystem is in line with the direction of state-owned enterprise transformation under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia, which places people development, corporate culture, innovation, and value creation as important parts of building healthier, more competitive, and globally competitive state-owned companies.
