PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) recorded a 21 percent year-on-year (yoy) growth in assets under management (AUM) for its BNI Private division as of the second quarter of 2026. Third-party funds (DPK) also saw a 24 percent increase.

SEVP Wealth Management BNI Steven Suryana stated that the growth reflects increased client trust in the bank’s ability to manage wealth optimally. “This growth reflects increased client trust in the wealth management services developed by the company, while strengthening BNI’s position in the wealth management segment,” Steven said.

BNI Private’s performance also received international recognition from The Asset, which awarded it The Best Private Bank in Indonesia. This recognition serves as motivation to continue improving service quality for high net worth individual (HNWI) clients. “The recognition as The Best Private Bank in Indonesia further motivates us to continue delivering services that go beyond wealth management, but are also innovative, comprehensive, and of global standard,” Steven added.

Through BNI Private, the company provides wealth management solutions encompassing savings products such as savings accounts, current accounts, and deposits, as well as various investment instruments. These investment options include government and corporate bonds, mutual funds, stock referrals, and treasury and derivative products tailored to clients’ risk profiles and investment objectives.

Beyond asset management, BNI is also strengthening its service proposition through the development of cross-border wealth management, expanding services within the corporate ecosystem, and organising exclusive client experiences. The company is developing a Next-Gen Community programme to build long-term relationships with clients and their successors. This approach is directed so that BNI Private’s services not only focus on growing wealth value but also assist clients in maintaining asset continuity and cross-generational planning.

“Going forward, BNI continues to strengthen its wealth management capabilities through product and service innovation, more comprehensive advisory development, and the utilisation of BNI’s international network to deliver holistic wealth management solutions,” Steven concluded.
