PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, presented an integrated digital transaction ecosystem to facilitate thousands of visitors at the Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on 4–5 July 2026. During the festival, BNI supported various cashless transactions within the event area using QRIS wondr by BNI, which is integrated with current accounts, BNI Debit Cards, and BNI Credit Cards in a single application. One of the main attractions was the presence of O-Branch, BNI’s mobile banking service operated directly at the festival site. Through O-Branch, visitors could exchange Rupiah currency, open accounts, activate digital services, and utilise various other banking facilities without needing to visit a physical branch. Corporate Secretary of BNI, Okki Rushartomo, stated that the presence of various digital payment channels and the O-Branch is part of the company’s effort to deliver services that are closer to the community’s needs. ‘We want the public to experience first-hand how BNI’s digital services can provide convenience in every activity. Through our various digital financial innovations, we aim to deliver a transaction experience that is easy, fast, secure, and suited to customer needs,’ Okki said. BNI also provided convenience for those wishing to become customers through the wondr by BNI application, with a quick and practical account opening process. During the event, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy various promotions and appreciation programmes that added value to every transaction activity at the festival. In addition to providing transaction services, BNI also held various interactive activities at a booth designed to offer an educational digital experience. Visitors could become more familiar with BNI’s range of financial service innovations whilst gaining literacy on safe and comfortable digital transactions, particularly aimed at the younger generation and creative economy players. According to Okki, digital transformation is not only about introducing new technology but also about ensuring the public has access to financial services that are easy to reach and provide added value in daily activities. ‘BNI will continue to strengthen digital service innovation and expand financial access so that the public can enjoy a banking experience that is increasingly practical and inclusive, whilst supporting the productivity of business actors and the creative economy,’ he added. As it entered its 80th year on 5 July 2026, BNI continued to strengthen digital service innovation as part of the spirit of Swadharma Bhakti Negara. The company is committed to providing services that are increasingly accessible to the public whilst supporting the acceleration of Indonesia’s digital economy through modern, secure, and inclusive financial solutions. As a token of appreciation to customers who have grown together with BNI over eight decades, the company also presented various special programmes in celebration of BNI’s 80th anniversary, which the public could enjoy through various BNI transaction channels during the anniversary period.
