PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, is strengthening its commitment to supporting the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by presenting 10 supported MSMEs at the Dhawa Festival (Dhawafest) Pesona 2026 exhibition in Jakarta. The participation aims to expand market access, enhance product branding, and promote increased transactions for supported enterprises.

Corina Leyla Carnalies, BNI’s Director of Consumer Banking, stated that BNI’s participation in Dhawafest represents the company’s commitment to helping MSMEs develop and become more competitive.

“BNI’s participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026 is a concrete manifestation of the company’s commitment to helping supported MSMEs move up in class, become more competitive, and expand their market networks through cross-institutional collaboration,” Corina said in a written statement.

The Dhawa Festival Pesona 2026 is organised by Dharma Wanita Persatuan from the Ministry of Finance as a platform for promoting creative products from various regions across Indonesia. The exhibition will run for three days, from 4–6 March 2026, at Dhanapala Building within the Ministry of Finance Complex.

This year’s edition will feature approximately 240 participants consisting of craftspeople, producers, and supported MSMEs from various government agencies, state-owned enterprises, private institutions, and representatives of Dharma Wanita Persatuan within the Ministry of Finance.

Under the theme “Exquisite Indonesian Offerings – Supporting Higher-Class MSMEs Towards Golden Indonesia”, the exhibition showcases various products in fashion, handicrafts, and culinary sectors that reflect the cultural richness of different regions across Indonesia. This year, West Sumatra has been designated as the Dhawafest icon, symbolised by the Piring Dance, which represents the values of cooperation and synergy.

At the exhibition, BNI is presenting a diverse range of supported MSMEs across various sectors. These include Fenny Permata with jewellery products made from pearls and gemstones, Rafi Ridwan x ManZieRa presenting the work of disabled craftspeople featuring headscarves and woven textiles, Jeara Sleep Wear with nightwear, Polka Clothes with batik and polka-dot patterned textiles, and Bagora with fried garlic products.

BNI is also bringing other supported MSMEs such as Rendang Asese with traditional Nusantara cuisine, Artha Boutique with batik products, Wong Perfume with local perfume, Lemari Lawas with vintage and antique batik collections, Rumah BUMN Bekasi with Islamic fashion, Abit Kain with clothing, ulos textiles, and bags, and FIEF with batik and woven textile collections.

Beyond promoting MSME products, BNI is also encouraging the use of non-cash transactions and enhancing financial literacy among business operators. This effort aligns with BNI’s commitment to supporting digital transformation in the MSME sector whilst promoting more modern and sustainable business practices.

Through participation in Dhawafest Pesona 2026, BNI hopes that supported MSMEs can gain broader market access and strengthen business networks with various partners. The synergy between banking, government, and business operators is seen as crucial in accelerating MSME growth as the backbone of the national economy towards Golden Indonesia.
