Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) have officially entered into a strategic partnership in the field of data and analytics to support BNI’s priorities regarding customer service, data governance, and digital transformation. “This partnership with LSEG strengthens our data and analytics capabilities, enabling our teams to access high-quality market intelligence and generate deeper insights,” said BNI’s Director of Treasury & International Banking, Abu Santosa Sudradjat, in an official LSEG statement received in Jakarta on Thursday. Through this agreement, BNI will utilise LSEG’s trusted data, analytics, and workflow solutions across its main business lines. Abu added that the partnership will help BNI strengthen access to high-quality, officially licensed content, improve workflow consistency, and support faster, information-based decision-making for both customers and internal teams. “By integrating these capabilities into our daily workflows, we can make faster and more accurate decisions, and continue to deliver greater added value to our customers,” he said. Meanwhile, LSEG will provide AI-ready data and analytics for various asset classes, including market data, pricing and reference data, company information, economic indicators, news, risk intelligence, and regulatory data. The partnership also includes access to LSEG’s workflow solutions, including LSEG Workspace, as well as the provision of enterprise data via API and platform integration. “We are pleased to support BNI in its ongoing efforts to strengthen its data, analytics, and customer service workflow capabilities,” said LSEG’s Group Head of Sales for APAC, David Day. Day added that the partnership brings LSEG content into BNI’s workflows and is designed to support various operational needs, ranging from treasury, financial markets, and corporate banking to wealth management, advisory services, risk management, and compliance. Furthermore, the partnership will help BNI standardise data access, strengthen governance, and improve consistency in generating insights across all lines of the bank.
