BNI Introduces Life Goals Feature in wondr, Making Hajj Savings More Structured
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has introduced the Life Goals feature in the wondr by BNI app to help customers plan their long-term financial needs, including preparing Hajj pilgrimage funds in a more structured and targeted way. The feature enables customers to set savings targets aligned with specific financial goals, such as ‘Hajj Savings’, complete with settings for regular deposit amounts and timelines adjusted to individual financial capabilities.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that this innovation is part of the company’s commitment to providing financial solutions relevant to societal needs, particularly in preparing for Hajj, which requires meticulous planning.
“Through the Life Goals feature in wondr by BNI, we aim to help customers plan their financial goals in a more structured manner, including realising the dream of performing the Hajj pilgrimage,” said Okki in a written statement on Thursday (7/5/2026).
According to Okki, Hajj is not only a spiritual journey but also demands early financial preparation. The high costs of Hajj organisation and the long waiting period for departure make financial planning a crucial aspect for prospective pilgrims.
Via the Life Goals feature, customers can monitor their savings progress transparently through the integrated system in the wondr by BNI app. Additionally, the feature includes simulations and financial estimates to help users create more realistic plans aligned with their targets.
BNI believes this digital approach can encourage consistent and gradual saving habits, allowing long-term financial goals to be achieved without excessive burden on customers.
