PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, known as BNI, is strengthening its commitment to providing the best services to customers in conjunction with the 2026 National Customer Day (Harpelnas) momentum.

Under the theme ‘80 Years of Serving with All Our Heart’, BNI has deployed its management team, including the Board of Directors, Commissioners, and Senior Executive Vice Presidents (SEVP), to personally greet and interact with customers across various regions.

BNI President Commissioner Omar Sjawaldy Anwar stated that customer trust is a mandate that must be maintained through sincere service and genuine care. He noted that BNI’s 80-year journey reflects not just the company’s age, but its consistency in maintaining trust and serving the community across generations.

“Customer trust is a mandate that we must safeguard through sincere service, real care, and a commitment to always providing the best,” Omar said in a written statement on Friday, 4 September 2026.

Meanwhile, BNI President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan added that the spirit of service must be built upon integrity, applied consistently in every aspect of work. “Integrity is not merely a value, but must serve as the foundation for every decision and action we take,” said Putrama.

According to Putrama, this principle aligns with BNI’s journey as an institution born from the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, continuing to contribute to the nation’s progress. This spirit is reflected in the values of Swadharma Bhakti Nagara, as well as Seva, Karya, and Raksa, which serve as the foundation for BNI personnel to serve sincerely, work professionally, and protect the trust placed in the company.

As a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) within the Danantara Indonesia ecosystem, BNI is also continuously strengthening its service culture and governance as the foundation for executing corporate transformation. These efforts are directed towards ensuring that BNI remains capable of providing professional services while strengthening its contribution to society and the national economy.

“Over the past 80 years, BNI has grown and moved forward alongside its customers. The trust and loyalty of our customers serve as the energy and motivation for us to continue transforming, providing services that are increasingly easy, relevant, and closer to customer needs,” said Putrama.
