BNI Completes Refund of Funds to Aek Nabara Parish Credit Union

BNI’s Director of Human Capital & Compliance, Munadi Herlambang, stated that BNI has transferred funds amounting to Rp21.257 billion to CU Paroki Aek Nabara, complementing the previous refund of Rp7 billion. “The total funds returned to CU Paroki Aek Nabara reach Rp28.257 billion. With this, the entire refund process is declared complete,” said Munadi in Jakarta on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. Thus, this settlement process has been realised faster than the initial plan, which targeted completion on Friday, 24 April 2026. On this occasion, BNI conveyed its deepest apologies to the public, particularly the Catholic community and all members of CU Paroki Aek Nabara, for the anxiety and impact caused by this incident. Munadi emphasised that this resolution is the result of cooperation among various parties to ensure the process runs smoothly and provides certainty for affected customers. BNI also expressed thanks for the patience and cooperation from all parties during this process. “We view this process as a joint effort to resolve the issue properly. Our focus is to ensure the settlement proceeds smoothly and provides certainty for all parties,” Munadi concluded.
